Orca - 1989 T8 Special

Hi, I'm the owner and maintainer of the SAAB 900 (1979-1994) Special Editions website, for my sins :eldiablo:

I'm from the UK and have owned a few SAABs now ... my current is a C900 from 1989. It's the UK's T8 Special model, which was a run-out model for the 8V turbo. It has a Swedish "brother", called the T8 Aero.

Here's some pictures of "Orca". She's called Orca, because she looks like ... duh! an Orca It's a little poetic, too, since killer whales are not actually killer whales and she has all the looks of an aggressive Aero, but only an 8V engine

Anyway, good to be here ... you'll find me around some of the other forum boards as well, like SAAB Central and 900 Aero, as well as popping up in some unexpected places - I'm an honourary Estonian

Thanks for the welcome and the nice comments. Yes, I've seen a couple of familiar names here that have helped me with my Special Editions website. I must confess that my main reason for posting here was to find out some more about the ellusive 900i 16V 158 BHP Edition, which a Parisien called Ren first told me about on SAAB Central, but now I'm here I'm finding all sorts of interesting topics.

the 900 I 158HP EAI is very rare, the engine specifications are :

a ported stock head cylinder
a specific and bigger intake manifold
specific camshafts
EYQUEM spark plugs or NGK BCP 6 ES ones
3.2 Fuel pressure regulator

transmission : specifics primary drives
