Hi to all from a new member. Sorry for my lack of understanding how to use the Club facilities properly. Guidance is most welcome.
The suspension of my 9-3 has developed a problem. I first noticed the driving becoming uncomfortable and with difficult steering. I noticed that the front driver side has dropped by 50mm approximately.
I took the car to my local garage who told me that I needed to renew the sock absorbers and supports. Next I contacted a Saab dealer in England who said that the shock absorbers rarely needed renewal. He said the problem was more likely to be a broken spring.
I could take the car to England, but it is a long way to drive in this condition.
Does anyone have any advice on the subject. Can anyone know of a specialist near me (47300 Villeneuve sur Lot) who could effect a repair.

The best solution is to show your car to a Saab specialist , the nearest from Villeneuve sur Lot is in Toulouse (31) or Lunel vieil(34) , may some one in Bordeaux(33) but i'm not sure

Get out the weel on the front side down and look by yourself .you can see if it's a broken spring or the support of shock absorber the problem it's easy to look.

les traductions google en termes mécanique ne sont pas toujours évidentes. dans le cas présent si la voiture est descendue de 5 cm sur un coté, c'est soit un ressort cassé, soit les supports d'amortisseurs ou amortisseurs défectueux ,n'importe quel mécano peut voir cela et je pense que celui qui a vu est plus dans le vrai que celui qui suppose d'Angleterre sans voir.
