Hi  :hello: everyone,

I've been looking for a strut brace for my Aero 1.9 TTiD and I finally found one. I think RBM has the same part but there is some controversy because I read somewhere in our forum that  RBM says it is not compatible with my model Saab.
Speedparts.se (thanks Peter), has the strut brace which I purchased last week and had installed this afternoon at Saab Nanterre in the Paris suburbs. (Thanks Olivier)
The installation took less than 30 mins. A very simple operation. You need a torque wrench to finish the installation. It's the only "special" tool you need for the job.

The handling has improved! The steering feels tighter and preciser. Maybe a plaecebo effect too!!!

Here we have a few pictures of the strut brace installed.

:hello: i confirm you this is not a placebo ! there is a real effect on the front gear. But now take care under the rain at hight speed the reaction will be different than before your instal this strut brace. Now  the car not excuse the same error of "drive behaviour"  than before. i tested  on my saab 9000 a bigger strut race from RBM, and it's worse for the rear gear   but it's really efficient in turn :D

Hi  :hello: erik34: My Aero is a semi-automatic transmission model, 6 speeds. so,  it won't handle like a manual transmission model. It's also probably much lighter than your 9000.
So, I'll be going easy in the rain and snow too until I get a feeling for any changes I detect under these conditions. I'll let you know when I take it out for a comprehensive drive / test.

By the way, what do you mean by "drive behavior"? The driver behavior maybe...
